As Engineering Manager, you'll play a critical role in advancing Outschool Memberships and building innovative solutions that make alternative education (Alt-Ed) more accessible and engaging for families and learners everywhere.

As the Engineering Manager your contributions will directly impact our mission to inspire kids to love learning by making high-quality, interest-based education more discoverable, consumable, and engaging.

• You have experience as an engineering manager in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage company, and enjoy supporting teams through change and scale

• You demonstrate strong interest in hands-on experience with applying artificial intelligence for features like personalized learning experiences, smarter content discovery and educational recommendations

• You excel at owning and driving engineering roadmaps; collaborating with cross-functional partners to prioritize initiatives, align with business objectives, and ensure timely, high-quality execution

Outschool is recruiting for this role in the Bay Area, and sets employee salaries to reflect local compensation and cost of living. Only candidates located in the Bay Area will be considered for this role. The salary range for this position would be $225,000-$280,000 USD.
