Accompanies physician during patient care appointments.

♦ Records physician's patient care dictation directly into EMR.

♦ Data entry skills - entering patient information into EMR at point of service.

♦ Maintains a neat, clean organized work environment and helps colleagues as needed.

♦ Attends unit meetings per unit standard 90% of the time.

♦ Adheres to hospital dress code policy 100% of the time.

♦ Additional duties as requested.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :

♦ Possesses strong verbal communication skills; demonstrating ability to communicate with adult and geriatric age groups.

♦ Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

♦ Ability to adapt to changing patient flow schedules.
