About The Position

License : NY license required in hand to submit

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

Must-Have : Epic experience is a hard requirement

Description :

Registered Nurse specializing in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).

4 x 10 variable shifts available including hours of 11 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM, 12 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM, or 1 : 00 PM - 11 : 30 PM.

Experience dealing with a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The unit provides interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Charge experience is preferred.

Charting system experience with Epic is required.

Candidates will be floating to different areas as needed.

Must have skills in arterial line management and knowledge of endoscopic / laparoscopic procedures.

The patient ratio during the day will be 2 patients per nurse.

This position does not require call or weekend coverage.

A successful candidate will have experience in managing patient care in a recovery unit setting.

All foreign education that may need verification should be communicated at the time of application.
