Overview
You will work in different areas : Inpatient, Outpatient, ICU (Intensive Care Unit), and share on-call duties. The job includes medical care, surgeries, trauma cases, and treating adults. There are 4 full-time Critical Care Physicians in the group. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, plus on-call every 4th night and every 4th weekend. On average, each physician will take care of up to 20 ICU patients during the day, with help from nurse practitioners. When working with non-ICU patients, you'll see up to 10 patients a day. You may admit around 5 new patients each day.

The trauma level is III. The hospital uses a medical record system called Cerner.
