Job Summary :

The Palms of Sebring is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this role, you will assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapeutic services to residents, helping them improve mobility, strength, and overall function. You'll work closely with residents and healthcare professionals to enhance recovery and independence.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.

Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents’ mobility, strength, and function.

Monitor and document resident progress, adjusting treatment as needed.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

Educate residents and their families on exercises and techniques to support recovery.

Qualifications :

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) licensure in Florida.

Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred.
