Staff Dentist - Levelland, TX (New Graduates Can Also Apply)

Offering $10K Sign-on Bonus OR Relocation Assistance

Shift & Schedule :

  • Monday-Thursday 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM and Friday 8 : 00 AM-12 : 00 PM;
  • Monday-Thursday 8 : 00 AM-6 : 00 PM.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provides dental services to patients, including the application of fillings, extractions, x-rays,
  • Restorations, dental prostheses, as appropriate, and diagnoses and treats oral lesions.
  • Ensures dental staff apply proper dental techniques and methods.
  • Maintains patient records of dental services rendered.
  • Uses all available resources in diagnosis and treatment, such as laboratory and radiological testing, in an appropriate and cost-efficient manner.
  • Refers those cases that require specialist services, but maintains responsibility, assuring that continuity of care is provided.
  • Attends all dental staff meetings and participates in the health centers Performance Improvement program.

    • Requirement :

  • Graduation from an accredited school of dentistry with a Doctor of Dentistry degree.
  • License to practice dentistry in the State of Texas.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of preventive and corrective dentistry and oral
  • Hygiene and clinical dentistry requirements.
  • Ability to supervise the work of others; to provide patient dental care; to diagnose patient dental care needs; and to prepare and maintain accurate records.
  • Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
  • Sufficient experience and / or education to carry out the duties of this position.
