Travel RN Job Details

Job Title : Med / Surg Telemetry RN – Travel Nurse

Location : Fond du Lac, Wisconsin 54935

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Healthcare Setting : Med / Surg Telemetry Float Pool

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required

Float Requirement : Float to all inpatient units

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,880 - $2,020

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license and eligibility to work in Wisconsin

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience

Previous travel nursing experience required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

Epic charting experience required

First-time travelers not accepted

COVID-19 vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions considered)

Ability to float to all inpatient floors

Must wear navy blue scrubs

Previous charge nurse experience preferred

Clean-shaven for FIT testing

OSHA Respirator Clearance required prior to start

Must reside more than 70 miles from facility

RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across multiple inpatient units

Administer blood products and manage IV insulin protocols

Interpret and treat cardiac dysrhythmias

Perform wound care, including wound vac procedures and implement isolation precautions

Start and maintain IVs, perform phlebotomy, and titrate insulin drips

Care for patients pre- and post-cardiac catheterization and cardiac surgery

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services

Document patient care using Epic electronic health record system

Float to units such as general med / surg, telemetry / oncology, neuromed / surg, inpatient rehab, and cardiac med / surg
