Job descriptionWork in the Labor and Delivery unit of a tertiary care hospital Care for pregnant patients at any gestational age, as well as postpartum patients within 6 weeks post-delivery Utilize GE fetal monitors, GE telemetry monitors, Monica wireless fetal monitoring, Neopuff, and Draeger newborn warmers Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Weekend work required every other weekend Candidates are required to float to other units as needed EMR system is Epic, with proficiency required Responsibilities include triaging all pregnant patients at any gestational age and providing care to postpartum mothers Naval scrub bottoms with navy or white tops are required Return staff are eligible after a 1-year period away Modules required before start and are completed according to specialty Time off requests should be discussed during the application process Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility Case-by-case background review policy First-time travelers are welcome to apply Active NY RN license in hand required for consideration Minimum of 2 years recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience Certifications required : Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and OB-ACLS or ACLS Proficiency with Epic charting system required Must be experienced with GE fetal monitoring and telemetry equipment as specified High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
