SafeTech USA operates across the USA through a network of regional support centers located in Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Houston, Indianapolis, Atlanta, Savannah, and Miami.

We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join the Sales Team

at our location in Humble, TX or any other agreed upon site location.

SK AeroSafety USA – The Key Account Sales Manager handles duties within our North American sales team based in Humble, TX (SK AeroSafety USA Corporate Headquarters) or from another agreed upon location and will report to the Vice President of Business Development. The Key Account Manager effectively manages complex business development and sales campaigns in various stages. Key Account Manager is the primary point of contact for a number of assigned key and strategic customers throughout the USA facility network.  The Key Account Manager will ensure high levels of service and support, provide extraordinary communication driving high levels of customer satisfaction, while building and cultivating long-term relationships. The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a positive customer / supplier relationship.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Account Management :

  • Ownership, Management and growth of a portfolio of key customer accounts within the aviation MRO market.
  • Drive sales growth for critical aircraft safety equipment services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Negotiate and manage service agreements.
  • Meet or exceed established growth targets set for the customer portfolio.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal departments (maintenance, operations, quality, and logistics).
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded in terms of service delivery, pricing, turnaround times, and technical support.
  • Understand each client’s maintenance cycles, aircraft platforms, and parts strategies to proactively align repair solutions.

Contract management :

  • Review and prepare draft contracts and general terms of agreement.
  • Monitor contract performance metrics (e.g., delivery performance, warranty claims, customer satisfaction).
  • Serve as the main POC and driver for Customer Business Review’s building presentations addressing main KPI’s and customer concerns.
  • Sales & Business Development :

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies to capture new customers in the commercial, military, or corporate aviation segments.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities for additional services (e.g., repair capability expansions, component exchanges, asset management).
  • Prepare and deliver responses to RFQ’s, RFP's and prepare professional customer proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts within established margins and guidelines.
  • Actively participate in selected both “live” and “virtual“ tradeshows, conferences and industry day events, actively pursuing and following up on networking opportunities.
  • Travel of up to 50% to company sites, customer locations, and tradeshows may be required.
  • Market & Product Expertise :

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of aviation industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity.
  • Fully understand technical specifications, capabilities, and service offerings related to aircraft safety components, and be able to accurately discuss with customers both internal and external.
  • Customer Service & Support :

  • Full Ownership of the customer accounts within the assigned portfolio.
  • Provide responsive and proactive support to customers throughout the repair process, from initial inquiry to final delivery.
  • Coordinate and drive internal repair teams to communicate work progress, delays, or technical issues.
  • Resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting & Administration :

  • Help develop and track sales performance metrics, tracking trends and providing regular reports to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and timely CRM records of customer interactions, quotes, and follow-ups.
  • Support forecasting and budgeting processes with account-level sales projections.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred, focus on Aviation is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of sales, account management, or customer service experience in the aviation or MRO industry.
  • Experience managing multiple large high profile customer accounts at the same time is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of FAA / EASA regulations and MRO part 145 business models & aircraft safety systems.
  • Proven success in managing complex, long-cycle sales processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior relationship-building & commercial negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. PowerPoint and Word) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to travel domestically and / or internationally up to 50% of the time.
