Job Title : Tax Manager – Private Credit

Location : Fairfield County, CT

Position Summary :

JCW is partnered with a firm seeking a Tax Manager with strong credit experience to support tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions across its credit-focused investment vehicles. The ideal candidate has a foundation in public accounting (Big Four preferred) and brings 5–8 years of experience, including exposure to complex fund structures and partnership taxation. In-house experience at an asset manager or investment firm is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage tax compliance and reporting for private credit funds and related entities (partnerships, blockers, SPVs, etc.)
• Review partnership allocations, investor tax reporting (K-1s), and tax return workpapers prepared by external providers
• Support quarterly and annual tax provision processes in coordination with the finance and accounting teams
• Research and analyze tax issues related to new investments, fund launches, and structuring matters
