Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with acute inpatient experience and a current BLS certification for a variable shift role.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

Work primarily in an acute care inpatient rehab setting with secondary coverage in ICF / SNF rehab

Shift options include Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat, or Sun-Thurs schedules, all 8 : 30am-5 : 00pm

Must be available to cover weekends and holidays as needed for hospital operations

Expect possible floating to other nursing departments based on hospital needs

Utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records

Responsibilities include evaluating and re-evaluating assigned patients, planning and implementing therapeutic physical therapy programs, and providing consultative services as prescribed by attending physicians or consulting specialists

All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the assignment start date

Must arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday assignment start to report to Employee Health on Friday morning

Candidates should expect to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Facility reserves the right to refuse or terminate assignments for cause

Current BLS certification required

Minimum of 6 months work experience in at least one of the following settings with adults : acute care, rehab hospital, or SNF

HI state license required by the start of assignment; must apply upon acceptance if not already licensed (license required if applicable)
