We are looking for Nurse Practitioners to diagnose and treat health conditions, as well as promote good health practices. As Nurse Practitioner you will be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible. The job description of a nurse practitioner / physician assistant includes conducting physical examinations, interpreting lab tests and overseeing patients health. You should have experience of the following Nurse Practitioner specialties : general practice, internal medicine, family health, and womens health. At least 2 years of clinical experience on primary care is vital. Responsibilities

Examine patients and their medical records

Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)

Diagnose health conditions and illnesses

Propose treatments for chronic ailments and infectious diseases

Prescribe medications

Maintain accurate records and schedules

Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications

Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention

Oversee patients overall health

Promote good health practices

Advance professional knowledge

Skills

Proven experience as Nurse Practitioner in a clinic facility.

Expertise in primary care and acute care.

Working experience with vulnerable populations.

Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.

. Strong Computer Skills.

. EMR solid experience : eCW a plus.

Excellent communication skills

Strong ethics

Team spirit with a positive attitude

Patience and cool-headedness

Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience

Valid nurse practitioner license for the state of Maryland, including active DEA and CDS.
