Pay Information

$225 to $265 per hour

About The Position

Pennsylvania Rheumatology - Light Call and Flexible Start

Explore a rewarding locum tenens Rheumatology opportunity in Pennsylvania. This ongoing assignment offers an excellent work-life balance and allows you to plan your 2026 schedule well in advance.

Highlights

  • Minimal after-hours call, typically 0-5 calls per month.
  • Stable, ongoing assignment perfect for long-term planning.
  • Collaborative environment with two dedicated PAs on site.
  • Open to IMLC physicians with an active LOQ.

Practice Setting

  • Hybrid role with a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties.
  • Manageable patient volume of 12-16 outpatients per day.
  • Provide care for a patient population of all ages.

    • Schedule

  • Consistent daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Coverage is needed for approximately 20 shifts per month.
  • Call is shared every other week and is primarily phone-based.

    • Cases

  • Focus on general Rheumatology cases like arthritis, gout, and lupus.
  • Generous appointment slots : 40-60 minutes for new patients.
  • Serve as a consulting physician for advanced practice providers.

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Rheumatology.
  • Must hold an active BLS certification.
  • Requires a minimum of 12 months of experience.
  • Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC (LOQ) on hand.

    • Travel accommodations

  • Travel and lodging accommodations will be provided.
  • Malpractice insurance with tail coverage is included for the assignment.
