KUTV is looking for a creative and dedicated full-time News Photographer! We seek someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. The candidate should have two years of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization. Responsibilities include covering day-to-day general, in-depth features, and investigative assignments. We shoot in full High-definition (HD) on media cards and edit on desktops and laptops. Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems, excellent people skills, a strong work ethic, and a great attitude are essential. A passion for storytelling is vital.

Requirements

• Be an aggressive team player capable of producing good stories under tight deadlines
• Degree in Journalism or a related field preferred
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to operate ENG news vehicles
• At least one year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
• Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages
• Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds regularly
