  • Clinical Shift Schedule : 24-hour call shifts (8a 8a), some shifts include clinic coverage
  • On-Call Shift Schedule : 24-hour call shifts
  • Call Type : In-House; Telephone
  • Call Ratio : Shared with 1 MD, 2 Midwives, and 1 APN
  • Call Response Time : As needed for OB or ER consultations

  • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered
  • Airfare : Standard economy, 1 checked bag, no upgrades
  • Lodging : $150 / night cap (pre-tax, no incidentals)
  • Mileage : IRS mileage reimbursement rates
  • Rental Car : $50 / day mid-size (Apr Nov); $75 / day mid-size 4WD SUV (Dec Mar)

    • REQUIRED PROCEDURES

  • General obstetrics and gynecology care
  • Deliveries and ER consultations for OB / GYN cases
  • No circumcisions

    • JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Licenses : Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)
  • Board : Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • DEA : Required
  • Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CSR license required
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year in OB / GYN practice
  • Other Qualifications : Must be available for 24-hour call coverage and clinic as needed

    • DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB / GYN patients
  • Manage deliveries per month
  • Provide consultations for OB / GYN-related cases in ER
  • Collaborate with onsite team (1 MD, 2 Midwives, 1 APN)
  • Perform OB / GYN procedures and provide patient follow-up care
  • Respond to patient needs during call-back shifts
