Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Competitive Benefits

In this role, you will conduct comprehensive system hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security compliance actions aligned with DoD requirements. Position is contingent upon contract award, expected in December 2025.

Clearance Requirements : An ACTIVE Secret clearance (IT Level II Tier 5 / Special-Sensitive Position) is required. Candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility for classified information access. US Citizenship is necessary for clearance acquisition.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages.
• Create and maintain key security documentation, including Security Plans and Continuous Monitoring Plans.
• Conduct annual FISMA assessments and Continuous Monitoring of authorized systems.
• Develop and execute test plans using ACAS tools, apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG), and manage Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) reviews.
• Analyze scan results and document findings in the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).

Education : Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.

Compensation : The projected annual salary for this role is between $90,000 and $160,000, varying based on factors like experience, education, certifications, and location.
