LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care PA in New York!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in New York. This assignment begins on Nov 28, 2025, and is a 1-day contract covering urgent care cases as the sole provider. Shifts are available from 8am to 8pm or 9am to 4pm, offering a focused and dynamic workday.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider managing all urgent care cases during the shift
  • Deliver high-quality, patient-centered urgent care services
  • Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate treatment plans
  • Document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
  • Communicate effectively with patients and clinic staff

  • Active New York license required
  • Board certification is not required for this assignment
  • Background experience as a certified Physician Assistant in urgent care settings is preferred
