Tax Senior - Indirect Tax Technology and Transformation (TTT) - open locations

EY is a global leader in assurance, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions. Our Tax Technology Services Group is part of EYs National Tax Department and focuses on developing, implementing and integrating technology solutions that improve client and engagement team performance.

The opportunity

Be part of a team that builds sustainable tax strategies, assesses and improves tax functions, and supports clients in managing relationships with tax authorities. You will support key components of multiple tax engagements, including strategy, planning, risk assessment, team management, engagement economics and client service delivery.

Your key responsibilities

Challenge the effectiveness of tax strategy and approach for engagements, build strong relationships across a network of clients and stakeholders, identify opportunities to use technology to accelerate and enhance delivery of indirect tax services, and actively participate as a member of pursuit and service delivery teams.

Skills and attributes for success

• Collect and document engagement team and client feedback; identify market events such as new client needs and competitor activity
• Develop proficiency in the use of major technology tools
• Assist with the deployment of technology services
• Strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
• Strong data analytic, communication and teamwork skills
