Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Test Development : Define and deploy diagnostic test plans, fixtures, tools, and methodologies for fault isolation of customer returns in PCIe, CXL, UCIe, Ethernet and other high-speed switching products. Scale successful tools for broader use in high-volume manufacturing and troubleshoot NPI qualification failures or field issues.
• Embedded Silicon Agent Champion : Drive selection or development of embedded silicon agents to monitor temperature, voltage, noise, process, timing, etc., at the block level on chip. Collaborate with design, validation, and firmware teams to debug features in the lab and enable real-time adaptive behavior. Partner with software teams to process data and produce actionable diagnostic conclusions.
• Design DFT Review : Collaborate with design, operations engineering, and system validation teams to drive early Design-for-Testability (DFT) and diagnostic capabilities, ensuring coverage and applying lessons learned.
• Advanced Packaging Diagnostics : Develop diagnostic methodologies for MCM, 3DIC, and optical interconnect packages, including die-to-die and heterogeneous integration interfaces.
• Issue Debugging : Lead debugging of complex hardware, firmware, and software issues during NPI and high-volume production using diagnostic hooks and advanced tools.
• Advanced Quality Data Analytics : Build data systems to eliminate outliers, predict quality trends, and identify improvement opportunities; develop signature analysis techniques using AI / ML where appropriate.
• Diagnostic Pattern Improvement : Improve diagnostic efficiency, reduce retest, and boost product yield and quality.
• Automation & Scalability : Develop and maintain automated diagnostic tools to scale and reuse across product families.
• Lifecycle Quality : Integrate diagnostics into silicon lifecycle management, firmware release, and reliability tracking to detect degradation or field risks.
• Interoperability & System Level Support : Ensure interoperability, diagnostic transparency, and robust field debug capability across teams.
