About The Position

Job Title : Social Worker

Profession : Social Worker (LCSW)

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years of inpatient social work experience preferred

License : Must be registered on the Roster of Psychotherapists who are Non-licensed and Non-certified with the State Office of Professional Regulation via LICSW, LMFT, or LCMHC prior to employment

Certifications : BLS (AHA)

Must-Have :

MUST HAVE PSYCH EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN AND BE COMFORTABLE WITH ALL AGE GROUPS

MUST HAVE TRUE PSYCH EXPERIENCE (NOT JUST MEDICAL SOCIAL WORK / CASE MANAGEMENT)

EXPERIENCE WITH CHILDREN AND ADOLESCENTS REQUIRED

Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from an accredited graduate school of Social Work or a Master's degree in counseling or other behavioral health discipline is required

Must accept a flexible 40-hour work week scheduled to meet the needs of patients and families

Description :

Under general supervision, responsible for providing clinical / case management services to patients and their families.

Promotes optimal individual, interpersonal, and social functioning of the patient.

Assures reintegration into the community or environment most suited to the patient’s continued well-being.

Resume must include psych experience and age groups listed explicitly.

Units must be detailed in the resume (e.g., Medical social worker, Behavioral health social worker, Long-term care social worker).

Recent skills checklist is required.

Two supervisory references from the last two years of employment are necessary.

Certifications do not need to be active at the time of submission but must be obtained.

Candidates must include a driver's license or address as part of the submission packet.

Candidates residing within a certain distance from the facility may experience a rate adjustment.

Possible weekend work may be required.
