Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a modern, recently renovated Emergency Department in coastal Englewood, Florida .

This opportunity is perfect for experienced emergency physicians looking for a winter escape or a longer-term contract with full support, flexible shift availability, and a high-quality clinical environment.

Facility Type : Acute Care Community Hospital

Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Emergency Medicine

Start Date : ASAP – Ongoing

Shift Schedule : 12-Hour Shifts | 24 Hours of Physician Coverage Daily

Shift Types : Days & Nights Available

EMR System : Meditech P-doc

Dictation : M-Modal

Clinical Environment

Annual ED Volume : 20,000 Patients

ED Beds : 18

Support : APP coverage during peak hours

Facility Designation : AHCA Primary Stroke Center

Imaging & Diagnostic Support :

MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound onsite

Phlebotomy support for sepsis / stroke alerts and surge response

Trauma Designation : Community-based ED (not a trauma center)

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification : ABEM or AOBEM required; FM / IM with 2+ years current ED experience considered

Licensure : Active Florida Medical License & Unrestricted DEA

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS (preferred for non-EM boarded candidates)

Experience : Must be comfortable in a solo-physician model with APP support and managing a variety of emergent cases
