Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Patient Care Tech Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Job Overview Position : Patient Care Technician – Emergency Room Facility : UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus Address : 55 Lake Ave N, Worcester, MA 01655 Start Date : 12 / 08 / 2025 Contract : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12 Days (7a–7 : 30p) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hrs / week Schedule : Every other weekend | No call License : MA license required in hand ✅ Requirements Minimum 1 year recent PCT / CNA experience (Acute Care or ER preferred) Active BLS certification (AHA) Epic charting experience preferred Flu vaccine required (declinations accepted) Must be trained in restraint observation and handling behavioral patients Responsibilities Assist with ADLs : bathing, feeding, ambulation, and hygiene Obtain and record vital signs, EKGs, intake / output, and specimen collection Support emergency department staff with patient monitoring and safety Maintain infection control and proper use of medical equipment Provide professional, compassionate care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients K16 About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
