As a Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular vehicle patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, interacting with visitors and staff, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or identify potential concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and / or suspicious activities. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity, maintenance issues, or security-related hazards to the appropriate personnel. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Assist visitors and employees with inquiries and provide directions as needed, maintaining a professional and courteous presence at all times. Follow all company procedures and site-specific guidelines to help to deter incidents and maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors at utility locations.

Minimum Requirements : A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Experience providing customer service is preferred. Ability to use a computer or tablet is preferred. Certification in CPR and / or First Aid is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
