Our Story We started out as a small operation in California. In May 1969, we acquired four hospitals, some additional care facilities and real estate for the future development of hospitals. The EMT holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with paramedic direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures.

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Sunnyvale is seeking a Emergency Medical Tech to assist with patient care based on individual patient needs within the scope of practice under direct supervision of the Registered Nurse. Clients served are predominately adults and geriatrics, but adolescents / pediatrics and neonate / infants will occasionally be treated.

Required : Graduate of an emergency medical technician program.

Experience :

Preferred : Emergency Medical Technician experience.

Certifications :

Required : Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification; AHA BLS.
