Pay : $20-$30 an hour

Shift : 2nd shift (Will train on 1st shift)

Job Description

As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing and evaluating test specimens, reporting results, and maintaining detailed records. You will ensure all laboratory equipment functions correctly, maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lab, and ensure all paperwork is up-to-date. You will also be responsible for training future Lab Technicians, maintaining a world-class safety culture, embracing CORE values, and contributing to team goals.

Responsibilities

Prepare and evaluate test specimens.

Report results of test specimens.

Keep accurate records and post specimen results.

Ensure all necessary laboratory equipment is functioning properly and supplies are available.

Maintain a clean and orderly lab environment.

Ensure all laboratory paperwork is current.

Train future Lab Technicians.

Maintain a world-class safety culture and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly.

Embrace CORE values and contribute to achieving team goals.

Perform any other duties deemed necessary by the Management team.

Essential Skills

Troubleshooting skills.

Mechanical aptitude.

Blueprint reading and interpretation.

Experience in computer data entry and testing quality assurance.

Experience in a manufacturing field with GMP, Quality / Lab experience.

Strong mechanical ability.

Ability to read work instructions and blueprints.

Computer skills are essential.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Quality excellence.

Prior experience in a Lab environment is a plus.

Currently trained as an Inspector is helpful but not necessary.

Ability to work flexible hours when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.36 - $30.00 / hr.
