POSITION SUMMARY
Provides medical services to all patients facility-wide, as directed by the Medical Director

Provide comprehensive medical care for a diverse outpatient populationDiagnose and manage both acute and chronic conditions, with particular attention to patients with substance use disorders under the supervision and written protocol of the Medical Director.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including behavioral health, social work, and nursingParticipate in the development of individualized treatment plans and ongoing patient educationProvide oversight to Physician Assistant(s) (up to 2) and Nurse Practitioner (up to 2) working in the clinic.Reviews and approves all protocols approved by the clinic.Participates in peer review process pursuant to peer review procedures.Participates in Credentialing Committee as requested by the Medical Director and reviews clinical privileges for clinic medical staff.Assists in the annual review of Clinic standards and policies.Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, quality standards, and regulatory requirementsQualifications :
MD / DO with active, unrestricted medical license in California.Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or General PractitionerExperience managing substance use disorders in a clinical setting (required)Knowledge of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), harm reduction, and integrated behavioral health models is preferredStrong team player with excellent communication skillsCommitment to compassionate, patient-centered careEDUCATION
PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN : Completion of medical school courses at an accredited college and certification and licensing by the State of California Board of Medical Examiners as a Physician.
EXPERIENCE
PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN : One (1) consecutive year’s experience in a medical facility.
