Position Summary :

The Business-to-Business (B2B) Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and executing collection activities for outstanding accounts receivable from commercial clients. This role ensures timely payments, resolves billing discrepancies, and maintains positive client relationships while minimizing financial risk to the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Contact clients via phone, email, and written correspondence to follow up on past due invoices.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Sales, Customer Service, Billing) to resolve account issues and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Maintain detailed records of collection activities, communications, and payment arrangements.
• Prepare and distribute aging reports and collection status updates to management.
• Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-off when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts receivable.
