We are currently looking for dedicated candidates for the role of Ultrasound Technologist at various levels (I, II, III). Your placement will be determined by your qualifications and experience. Each role plays a crucial part in delivering patient care under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, with escalating responsibilities for higher levels.

Key Responsibilities :

Ultrasound Technologist I :

  • Following orders from qualified providers, utilize ultrasound equipment that employs high-frequency sound waves for diagnostic purposes as per KSC Radiology Department's policies and procedures.
  • Perform imaging services relevant to assigned locations, which may include sonohysterography and / or vascular ultrasound.
  • Employ the designated Radiology Information System (RIS) and Patient Archiving System (PACS) for clerical tasks.
  • Be prepared to handle additional duties as assigned, provided that your training and experience support such responsibilities.

Ultrasound Technologist II :

  • All responsibilities of Ultrasound Technologist I apply.
  • Requires further experience and / or certification.
  • Ultrasound Technologist III :

  • All responsibilities of Ultrasound Technologist I and II apply.
  • Requires additional experience and / or certification.

    Required Qualifications (All Levels) :

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited program.
  • Education to meet ARDMS or ARRT (S) applicant standards.
  • Current RDMS OR RT(R) (S) certification or be a current applicant for certification, with the expectation to achieve it within one year of hire.
  • Maintaining BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Proficiency with computer keyboard and basic understanding of digital image acquisition.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    For Ultrasound Technologist II :

  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • At least 1 year of ultrasound experience (which may be gained through a formal training program with a minimum of 1-year clinical instruction).
  • RDMS with a minimum of 2 specialty registries relevant to our practice OR RT(R) (S) with a minimum of 2 specialty registries applicable to our work.
  • Experience with PACS and RIS.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • For Ultrasound Technologist III :

  • Healthcare-related degree.
  • 3+ years of ultrasound experience, including proficiency in PACS and RIS.
  • At least 2 years of ultrasound experience, which may be gained through a formal training program with adequate clinical instruction.
  • RDMS with a minimum of 2 specialty ultrasound registries, plus RVT or RVS OR RT(R) (S) with RVT or RVS.
  • Experience with PACS and RIS.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • The pay is competitive and influenced by various factors, including local labor markets and your credentials. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes equity stock purchase opportunities and 401k contributions (subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.27 to $50.48 based on Full-time employment.
