Title : SAP FICO Senior Analyst
Location : Bay Area, CA
Role Overview :
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in defining, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for the accounting orchestration platform. You will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure successful integration of non-SAP sub-ledgers into the SAP general ledger system, optimizing data flow and enhancing financial reporting accuracy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deep Understanding of SAP CFIN (Central Finance Module) skill set
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to sub-ledger and general ledger integration.
- Lead workshops and interviews to understand current processes and identify gaps or pain points in existing data integration workflows.
- Develop clear, comprehensive documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
- Work closely with technical teams and solution architects to translate business needs into technical solutions for the orchestration platform.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and clarity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in solution design, testing, and validation to ensure the platform meets business objectives and compliance standards.
- Identify risks and issues, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Support change management efforts, including user training and documentation.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst in finance or accounting systems, preferably with experience in ERP integration.Strong understanding of SAP general ledger modules and experience working with non-SAP sub-ledger systems.Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.Familiarity with accounting principles, financial data flows, and reconciliation processes.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.Experience with integration platforms, APIs, or middleware is a plus.Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are desirable but not mandatory
