Job description

Are you a creative, detail-oriented designer who thrives in a collaborative team environment? Do you love turning words and ideas into beautiful, reader-friendly pages? We are a growing Christian homeschool publication company seeking a Graphic Designer to help us create engaging, high-quality print and digital resources for families and educators.

This is a remote, flexible-hours position ideal for a designer with strong experience in layout, publishing, and a passion for faith-based content. You’ll work closely with our writers, editors, and creative team to bring curriculum, devotionals, and family resources to life.

Responsibilities

  • Design and lay out print-ready and digital materials (unit studies, devotionals, workbooks, etc)
  • Collaborate with proofers, writers, and illustrations to work toward a finished product
  • Respond to feedback and make timely revisions as needed
  • Work within brand guidelines while contributing fresh ideas and visual consistency
  • Ensure excellence and accuracy

Must Have

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign (and have your own Creative Cloud subscription)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Experience designing multi-page documents for print and / or digital publication
  • Ability to follow style guides and maintain brand consistency
  • Attention to detail and task efficiency
  • Team player mentality and willingness to learn and grow / adapt

    • Nice to have

  • BA degree or training
  • Experience in the homeschool publication industry
  • Knowledge of Odoo
  • Knowledge of Pageproof

    Each year we have several intensives where we come together on site (optional) to plan future projects, get to know each other, and brainstorm / vision cast in a collaborative team environment. We have on-site work and remote work available.
