Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston is currently looking for a Housekeeping House Attendant!

The Housekeeping House Attendant is responsible for cleaning public areas of the hotel. Stocks rooms and storage areas with clean linens. Picks-up and delivers guest request items. Gives assistance to Housekeepers in moving heavy objects in guest rooms. Also will comply with any additional requests that may arise pertaining to Housekeeping duties.

Essential function of the job:

• Keeps all guest corridors and public area neat, vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free. Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas. Removes all trash from areas.
• Moves racks of clean rooms linen to guest room floors. Stocks linen storage rooms and armoires daily with supplies and amenities. Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
• Responds to guest requests and inquiries while in the lobby. Can answer guest questions and direct them to the areas they desire to be in.
• Assists Housekeepers as required. Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes. Preferred Qualifications and Skills We are looking for individuals who have a knowledge of housekeeping with good communication skills. Applicants are required to have physical mobility as lifting, walking, bending and moving objects up to 70 lbs. Speaking, writing and reading English is required. Positive attitude and willing to learn is must. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
