Duties
You will have knowledge of LAN / WAN infrastructure, telecommunications practices, desktop support issues, and IT security policies.
You will have knowledge of various desktop configurations (including hardware, software, and operating systems), seat management technology, network infrastructures, and shore installation procedures.
You will analyze data and resolve difficult technical issues related to IT systems.
You will evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of service operations in accordance with SLAs.
Requirements

This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code (DCWF), proficiency level (Advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies :
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information; makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following :
1) Federal IT customer service experience-Hands on experience with relevant tools and software including NET / NEST
2) Experience utilizing NMCI and / or One-NET programs; and
3) Experience with hardware, software, and infrastructure management.
