  • Flexibility for partial remote work (hybrid) outside of core development phases

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of compounding experience (sterile & non-sterile), including 2+ years in formulation / R&D leadership
  • In-depth knowledge of USP , , , FDA guidelines, and cGMP standards
  • Proven expertise in formulation development, stability studies, potency testing, and regulatory documentation
  • Track record of working with multiple product types - not just a small product line
  • Prior compounding pharmacy experience is required; big pharma-only candidates are not a fit
  • Must Haves

  • Lead development of new formulations across sterile, non-sterile, and hazardous product lines
  • Conduct feasibility assessments, literature reviews, and analytical testing
  • Collaborate with Sales, Pharmacy Ops, and Quality to align R&D with market demand
  • Serve as technical lead for testing, validation, and documentation
  • Mentor staff and guide formulation strategy based on lab data and business goals
  • Ensure all R&D work complies with relevant compounding and regulatory standards
  • Preferred Background & Skills

  • Experience launching compounded formulations from R&D through validation and scale-up
  • Familiarity with hazardous compounding workflows and regulatory handling
  • Ability to bridge technical product development and commercial strategy
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives
  • Ready for what's next?

This is your chance to lead innovation, scale a portfolio of patient-first therapies, and collaborate across teams that value chemistry, creativity, and compliance. If you're driven by science and excited to work at the intersection of R&D, operations, and sales, we'd love to connect.
