Seat Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Seating Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of complete seating systems for next-generation vehicles

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of engineering design and development concepts for complete automotive seating systems.
• Work proficiently with CATIA V5 / V6 for 3D modeling and design activities.
• Design seat and seat components including foam, headrests, plastics, cables, lumbar systems, and trim covers.
• Utilize relevant experience in Master Sections, Vehicle Integration, Vehicle Packaging, Concept Creation, and assembly processes for various seat parts.
• Apply strong understanding of tooling and seat manufacturing processes to ensure manufacturability and quality.
• Prepare, release, and maintain engineering documentation including engineering change notices.
• Perform complete seat packaging studies for seating components to ensure proper fit, finish, and functionality.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of FMVSS regulatory and certification requirements for automotive seating systems.
• Develop and maintain Design Validation Plans (DVP) and Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA).
• Possess strong knowledge of seating systems and component manufacturing processes, ensuring robust design solutions.
