Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Mental Health Discipline : Therapy Start Date : 11 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Mental Health Coordinator – LPC, LCSW, LMFT Location : Watonga, OK Duration : 13 weeks Schedule : 5x8 Job Summary : The Mental Health Coordinator provides clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature within the facility. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering counseling and crisis intervention to inmates in need of mental health support. Job Responsibilities : Conduct mental health screenings and assessments using records review and clinical interviews. Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on evaluation and level of functioning. Document all evaluations and treatment activities in the healthcare record. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques to support caseload needs. Provide counseling and crisis intervention to address the mental health needs of inmates. Required Skills & Experience : Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a comparable position. Education : Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution. Licensure & Certifications : Active LPC, LCSW, or LMFT license in the state of practice. Valid driver’s license preferred (unless otherwise required by contract).
