Accounts Receivable Specialist
Pasadena, TX
PSC Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who thrives on providing excellent customer service and enjoys solving problems. This position will work in one of our corporate offices in a family-oriented, team environment.
Work Schedule : Monday – Friday. Hybrid work schedule (flexibility to work remotely 2 days per week)
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
- Issue statements to all customers monthly.
- Initiates set up of new customer accounts and conducts credit checks as required.
- Determines validity of account discrepancies by investigating and obtaining information from operations, billing, and customers.
- Processes valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
- Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions.
- Improves collections by routinely analyzing Accounts Receivable aging reports and developing a strategy to maximize receipts.
- Works directly with Management and Billing team as needed to resolve payment disputes and / or non-payment of accounts.
- Contacts customers to follow up on delinquent accounts.
- Maintains detailed documentation of all collection efforts.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related projects as needed.
Job Qualifications :
One - two years of experience in accounts receivableExperience with NetSuite is a plusProficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Strong customer service skillsStrong organization and time management skillsAbility to prioritize projects and multitaskStrong problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentialityHighly self-motivated with the ability to work independently18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.Stable work history with good references from past employersPass a drug screen, physical, and background checkSpeak fluent EnglishPSC is a veteran-friendly company.
