Your mission

Keep people safe and product moving. As a reliability-focused technician, you’ll blend fabrication, machining, and electrical know-how to extend the life of our assets and reduce unplanned downtime across both production and facility systems.

Imagine your first 90 days

You map critical PMs, standardize safety-first inspections, and eliminate a recurring fault by rebuilding a worn assembly you machined in-house. You train operators on early warning signs, fine-tune PLC-related inputs with the team, and hand off clear documentation so the next shift hits the ground running.

Core responsibilities

  • Rebuild, overhaul, inspect, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment and facility systems.
  • Execute preventive maintenance routines; escalate and complete safety-related work promptly.
  • Maintain meticulous records for work orders, PM tasks, and repairs.
  • Fabricate fixtures and jigs; machine parts using lathe and mill with micrometers and calipers.
  • Perform welding (MIG / TIG / Arc) on steel and aluminum.
  • Troubleshoot using multimeters and computer tools; interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Address basic plumbing tasks and copper air line work.
  • Support, coordinate, and monitor outside contractors for quality performance.
  • Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards for a safe, organized workspace.
  • Act as backup to the maintenance supervisor; assist with janitorial duties when needed.

Schedule & flexibility

  • Mainly first shift coverage.
  • Occasional on-call rotation covering nights and weekends.
  • Flex hours when business needs change.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 3–7 years of maintenance or fabrication experience.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to operate a Hilo (forklift) and maintain license.
  • Strong safety orientation with a habit of prioritizing safety work orders.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
  • Skilled communicator who interprets written and verbal directions, mentors peers, and collaborates with operators to define failures.
  • Technical strengths

  • Welding : MIG, TIG, and Arc on steel and aluminum.
  • Machining : lathe and mill; measurement with micrometers and calipers.
  • Fabrication : build custom fixtures and jigs.
  • Electrical : multimeter proficiency, computer-based diagnostics, and PLC environment familiarity.
  • Blueprint and schematic reading : electrical and hydraulic.
  • Facilities : basic plumbing and copper air lines.
  • Physical demands

  • Frequent walking and ladder climbing; operation of personal lifts up to 35 feet.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds and work comfortably in tight spaces.
