About the Role

As a Physical Therapist at Orthopaedic Associates of Maine, youll work closely with physicians to develop and deliver customized treatment plans that help patients regain function, mobility, and confidence. Youll treat a wide range of orthopaedic conditions from post-surgical rehabilitation to preventative care using advanced techniques, hands-on therapy, and tailored exercise programs.

What Youll Do

• Evaluate, plan, and implement physical rehabilitation programs for patients referred by our physicians.
• Design individualized treatment plans focused on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other clinicians to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Use manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to reduce pain, prevent injury, and promote healthy movement.
• Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and motivate patients throughout their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards.
