L'imprimerie is hiring a bread / pastry  baker (https : / / www.instagram.com / limprimerie / )

We are a community bakery in Bushwick providing a welcoming and positive experience to all our community members. With quality-focused, locally-sourced ingredients, we create artisan bread, French viennoiseries, sandwiches and serve Sey coffee.

Candidates should have a great deal of respect for their craft and be willing to learn and grow in a small, hands-on and fast-paced environment. This is a small 5 bakers team.

We are committed  to using local farms for our dairy and much of our produce. Including sourcing wheat berries, rye and buckwheat from upstate farms and milling in-house . Experience in European artisan style bread and in traditional   viennoiserie a big   plus.

Our current shifts on Saturdays and Sundays start at 1 : 30 AM and go through approximately 10 AM.

On weekdays our shifts start at 2 : 30 AM and go through approximately 11 AM.

Our current opening is primarily for weekday shifts .

This position involves shifts beginning early morning and candidates must be prepared to organize their schedule accordingly.

Compensation based   on experience and skills, as well as performance during trail.
