Job descriptionPerform HVAC system layout and spacing for cabinet designs and internal heat gain loads. Evaluate system performance through time-to-temperature analysis. Design and specify condenser units, boilers, chillers, heat pumps, and related HVAC components. Apply psychrometric analysis in system development and troubleshooting. Design systems that incorporate energy recovery equipment, desiccant wheels, etc. Conduct fan selection (technology and sizing) based on performance requirements. Collaborate with controls and mechanical teams for integrated system functionality. Graduate degree or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / HVAC Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience designing commercial or industrial HVAC systems. Strong knowledge of airflow, heat load, and energy recovery systems. Demonstrated experience with applying designs in a process air application including startup performance validation and troubleshooting. Base salary in the 130k - 150k / year range Unlimited PTO Health benefits 401k match

- They are adding a HVAC Systems Design Engineer who will be responsible for the complete design and optimization of HVAC systems, including cabinet design, thermal load calculations, and energy recovery systems. This role ensures systems are efficient, code-compliant, and appropriately sized for the application.
