POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Design Engineer to take on advanced technical and engineering problem-solving tasks in support of nuclear plant operations. This position is responsible for managing technical decisions and ensuring adherence to industry codes and regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver advanced technical expertise to manage, develop, and implement engineering analyses and programs.
• Provide consultation and engagement to resolve equipment and system issues.
• Oversee task management related to engineering challenges.
• Conduct assigned engineering tasks using established engineering principles.
• Ensure work accuracy, completeness, and timeliness while following standard design criteria, practices, and codes.
• Undertake independent research and analyses to support technical projects.
• Propose innovative concepts and techniques to enhance performance, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry changes.
• Perform other duties as necessary per company policy or at management's request, including emergency response and departmental coverage.
