Summary :
This position is for an operations analyst that will deploy, monitor and support ongoing operations of multiple enterprise software application systems. Responsible for working as a member of the Operations team that is responsible for the day to day operations of application systems developed and maintained by the company. This includes understanding deployment, configuration and operational duties within those systems, troubleshooting user reported issues, and providing initial analysis of issues to development teams for issues that required changes to those systems. It will also include fulfilling documentation and governance responsibilities within the change management processes for those systems.
This position will involve overnight and weekend responsibilities as needed.
Essential Functions :
- Executing the nightly and weekend operational cycles in production for core business systems
- Executing operational cycles for multiple test and development environments
- Monitoring operational cycles for issues, and alerting the appropriate teams
- Deployment of internally developed applications to all development, QA and production environments
- Managing the system configurations for development, QA and production environments
- Managing the setup and configuration of new non-production environments
- Documentation and tracking of deployed changes and versioning to all environments
- Monitor, support and do initial troubleshooting of user reported issues from external web application
- Identify and distribute identified issues to either the responsible business unit or development teams based on issue research
- Responsible for installing major software upgrades on servers

Preferred 4 years' experience with software development or systems administrationPrior development experience with Microsoft platform tools & technologiesExposure to Life Insurance and Annuity business a bonusLicenses & Certifications :
