Available Roles
Operating Room – Main OR
- Shift : 2 : 30 PM – 11 : 00 PM (Monday–Friday + Call)
- Experience Required : 2+ years of Main OR experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (acute care hospital only; surgical center experience not considered)
Operating Room – CVOR
Shift : Monday 6 : 45 AM–7 : 15 PM, Tuesday–Thursday 6 : 45 AM–4 : 15 PM + CallExperience Required : Minimum 1 year of recent CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist experienceKey Responsibilities
Function as a first scrub assistant , providing direct support to surgeons during operative and invasive procedures.Ensure readiness and organization of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment based on procedure requirements.Maintain sterile technique and apply aseptic principles throughout all surgical cases.Support case readiness and patient flow for efficient OR operations.Promote safety and compliance with all policies, standards, and protocols.Serve as a resource and role model for less experienced staff members.Pursue ongoing education and professional growth opportunities.Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist ProgramCertification :Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA or NCCT (must include CST# and expiration date)Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (American Heart Association)Experience :1+ year CVOR experience for CVOR role2+ years Main OR experience for Main OR roleAcute care hospital experience required – surgical center experience not acceptedOther Requirements :Updated, accurate resume with employment history and unit experienceWillingness to take call and work weekends / holidays as requiredCompensation & Benefits
