Location : 31 Maxwell Ln Suite 300 A, Dahlonega, Ga 30533

Reports To : Restaurant Manager

Department of Labor Classification : Hourly Non-Exempt

Work Schedule : Flexible hours are available! Able to work starting at 5 : 00 AM or until midnight if required, based on café hours and availability.

Job Summary :

At Tropical Smoothie Café , we promote a healthier lifestyle by serving delicious food and smoothies with a touch of tropical fun! Our Shift Leader plays a vital role in supporting café operations, training crew, and upholding our commitment to Unparalleled Hospitality . Guided by the values of Harmony Restaurants , this role supports staffing, development, and operational excellence across multiple café locations. Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Assist with inventory management and provide training as needed.
  • Support all onboarding and development initiatives to promote brand consistency.
  • Coach, train, and mentor crew members and management to drive performance.
  • Help fill staffing gaps in under-staffed cafés, working alongside café teams.
  • Support the rollout of new systems or software and provide relevant training.
  • Ensure execution of all team training programs according to TSC and Harmony Restaurants standards.
  • Deliver “Unparalleled Hospitality” with every guest interaction.
  • Operate all stations proficiently and provide support where needed.
  • Complete and maintain certifications including Café Basics and Certified Trainer Program.
  • Maintain quality, safety, and cleanliness standards at every station.
  • Use systems such as Synergy Suites to track labor and manage inventory.
  • Model and uphold Harmony Restaurants’ Core Values in all interactions.
  • Perform any additional duties required to support café operations.

  • Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to learn new software (e.g., Synergy Suites).
  • Strong math, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Physical Requirements :

  • Continuous standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent reaching, stooping, and stretching.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced café environment.
  • Regular face-to-face interaction with team members and guests.
