Industrial Assembler - Panel Department
We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Assembler to join our Panel Department. You will work in a clean shop environment, dedicating 50+ hours a week starting at 5 AM. Your role will involve learning the assembly and build process across various departments from start to finish. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a tape measure are crucial for performing basic jobs. Your skill set and experience will determine your initial department placement.
Key Responsibilities :
Utilize your trade to fabricate and build assemblies
Disassemble, clean, repair, and reassemble furnaces and coils
Remove cement from coils using chisels and hammers
Use hand and power tools to disassemble units (nuts, bolts, supports)
Assemble coils : attach supports, sandblast, apply epoxy / adhesive insulation, and wrap with mesh
Perform physically demanding tasks while standing for full shifts
Learn and apply brazing and soldering techniques as needed
Required Skills :
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to perform repetitive, labor-intensive tasks
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Eagerness to learn and train on the job
Basic math skills, including working with fractions
Experience with power tools, saws, hand tools, and screw guns
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in automotive, HVAC, carpentry, industrial painting, sandblasting, powder coating, panel building, wire assembly, fabrication, plumbing, or pipefitting
Experience with brazing, soldering, TIG welding, or metal fabrication
Prior experience in a shop or heavy industrial manufacturing setting

Work Environment :
You will work from 5 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday, in a state-of-the-art, fast-paced manufacturing facility with roughly 200 employees. The dress code requires work boots and appropriate work attire, with work shirts provided after a few weeks. Pay and Benefits :
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
