Responsibilities

• Pricing and executing equity derivatives transactions using advanced mathematical models and numerical techniques.
• Managing risks of an equity derivatives portfolio by monitoring current and historical market conditions and the portfolio's structure.
• Reconciling P&L figures of portfolios by tracking, analyzing, and interpreting market factors.
• Using scenario analysis to generate end of day risk reports and plan for the next day's trading activities.
• Evaluating and understanding the qualities of different equity derivatives to optimize portfolio's positions under different market scenarios.
• Programming in Python or other languages to develop trading tools and automate the generation of risk reports.
• Managing all risks to comply with approved limits.
• Interfacing with internal support groups to support all necessary business functions.

Associate - USD $140,000 - 180,000

VP - USD $250,000

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
