✅ About the Facility
Ahava Therapy Services is seeking a Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist to join our in-house rehab team at Laughlin Healthcare , a 90-bed skilled nursing facility in Greeneville, TN.
The community provides short-term rehabilitation and long-term care , supported by a strong therapy team and collaborative leadership.

⚙️ Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify swallowing and communication deficits.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional, achievable goals.
Provide evidence-based therapy and document all sessions accurately and timely.
Update care plans and modify treatment based on patient progress and clinical findings.
Educate residents, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and swallowing function.
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and collaborate with nursing, PT, OT, and facility staff.
Maintain compliance with professional, regulatory, and facility documentation standards.
Complete discharge summaries and assist with referrals for additional services as needed.
Participate in in-service training, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing education.
Support Ahava’s mission through compassionate, patient-centered practice.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current state SLP license (or eligibility)
CFY candidates and CCC-SLP both accepted
Current BLS / CPR certification (or obtained during orientation)
Strong communication, assessment, and clinical reasoning skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment
