Health Unit Coordinator - 4 North (Medicine)

Under the direction of the manager or designee supports the functions of the unit / area by performing receptionist and clerical duties.

Responsibilities include :

Maintaining the medical record in good form.

Communicating effectively using established systems / protocols.

Communicating effectively with ancillary departments.

Maintaining unit supplies / forms appropriately.

Assuming responsibility for professional development of self and contributing to and assisting with the professional development of others.

Other duties may be assigned.

Position Compensation Range : $15.00 - $21.16 Hourly

Minimum Requirements

Education : High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Experience : No experience required.

Licensure : None.

Physical Demands

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending / stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift / push / pull.
