SUMMARY OF POSITION :
The Penn State Health OB / GYN office in Berks County is seeking a Social Worker to join the clinical team! Situated in Bernville, PA, on the Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center campus, this Medical Group office handles all OB / GYN patients. Primarily working in-person, the Social Worker can anticipate a work schedule of Monday to Friday from 8a to 4 : 30p.
The primary responsibilities of the Social Worker are to attend to and care for the needs of the current patient population. Communicating with the patients and their families to provide the proper interventions or assistance to promote healthy and equitable living will be the main objective of the Social Worker. In this role, it is essential that the Social Worker is fluent in English and Spanish to ensure seamless treatment and interaction.
Ideally, the Social Worker for the OB / GYN office must exemplify excellent communication, display understanding and compassion, and work well in conjunction with the clinical staff. Interested? Apply today!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :
Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required.
