Travel Nurse (RN) Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Job Description

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - Labor and Delivery / LDRP Float

Shift : Nights / 6 : 45p-7 : 15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week +Call, Every third weekend, every other holiday

Length :  13 Weeks

Requirements :

ND license

2 Years Experience

Previous travel experience

Able to read and interpret fetal strips, critical thinking, follow quality metrics, must be able to read strips

BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Preferred : ACLS, NRP, STABLE

Other Details :

• EMR :  Meditech
• # of L&D Beds : 15 total- 7 L&D, 8 Postpartum
• Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios? : 1 : 1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips. 1 : 3 couplet care
• Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Mix. Mainly obstetric / neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks
• Could float within skillset
• Floating Requirements : Yes - Medsurg, ER. wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed - perm staff is usually first to float
• Radius Rule : 50 miles
